Description of the Pic Maia Hotel

Ideal for those wanting a real get away from it all skiing holiday. Located at the top of the mountain pass high above Pas de le Casa and acsessable from the mountain top by a very easy red run. Continue on the same run to ski down into Pas. At such high altitude the hotel is very isolated and there's a good chance you'll need snow chains if driving there (buy the chains in Andorra from any shop for 15 EUR.)

Built in 1999, this hotel boasts a total of 82 rooms spread over 4 floors. Amongst the hotels modern facilities count a foyer with 24hour reception, a caf, a bar, a TV room, lifts and a cellar for bicycles. The inviting restaurant with separate nonsmoking area invites guests to stop for a bite to eat. Guests may park their cars either in the hotel car park, or in the garage.

"Out of the way, but what a view! "
	"We stayed on a half board basis at the Pic Maia. The welcome and service we recieved was excellent, and both breakfasts and evening meals were varied and nicley prepared. Although we only had a 4 night stay at the Pic Maia, I would quite happily return for a longer visit if our first stay was anything to go by. The hotel is at the top of the mountains, so not so easy to stroll to the local bars, but a cab ride is pretty cheap. " The best thing about Pic Maia was:"Service and value for money " The worst thing about Pic Maia was: "Bit of a strange smell down the hallway to our room? "
