The stylish Rydges Melbourne has been established in Melbourne since 1969 and is now the largest 4 star hotel in the Melbourne CBD. Built with the specific purpose of providing businesses with stylish accommodation, restaurants, bars and conference facilities, the hotel has deserved the praise bestowed upon it.

To date, the works completed include a new hotel lobby, 5 stylish conference rooms holding up to 500 people, 1 fully themed events venue holding up to 500 people and 125 NEW Deluxe Queen and King accommodation rooms. Upon completion in April 2005, the hotel will boast 293 NEW Deluxe rooms perfect for both corporate and leisure travellers.

Rydges Melbourne is centrally located in the heart of Melbourne's vibrant theatre and entertainment district and is situated opposite Her Majesty's Theatre and is only a 2 minute walk to Princess Theatre. The hotel is also on the door step of Chinatown and within walking distance to the exclusive Collins Street boutiques, sporting venues such as the MCG, Telstra Dome, Rod Laver Arena and Melbourne Park and many other attractions this city has to offer. Public transport is the easy, cheap and clean way to get in, out and around the city. Catch a bus, train or take the free City Circle tram or one of the many trams that criss-cross the City, and stop at various attractions, shops, parks and gardens.
