Castaways on the Beach is a family owned and operated resort with affordable rooms to suit couples and families. It is the only resort property positioned right on the sand at Mission Beach. Castaways has a range of Hotel Rooms, One and Two Bedroom Units. Units feature full kitchen facilities and all rooms offer a spacious private balcony or garden that look out over the tranquil Coral Sea.

Mission Beach is 140 kilometres south of Cairns. Surrounded by lush World Heritage Rainforest, Mission Beach is a 14 kilometre stretch of gleaming white sand overlooking the crystal blue waters of the Coral Sea. Mission Beach is the closest mainland point to attractions such as Dunk Island and the Great Barrier Reef.

Motel room: 1 child under 14 years sharing a room with two adults and utilising existing bedding are free of charge. Maximum 3 people per room. One Bedroom Suite: 2 children under 14 years sharing a room with two adults and utilising existing bedding are free of charge. Maximum 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children per room. Two Bedroom Suite: Child at adult rate. Maximum 4 people per room.
