"Shabby"
"The hotel is in a wonderful but noisy location (Sirens all night).
Believe that rooms were being altered to change type of accomodation.
Stayed here early 1990's when it was fabulous but now very dated. Light
fixings poor but when the staff were informed some light fixings were
changed. Only a breakfast room available. Evening meals not available as
restaraunt/bar closed at night. I use internet quite a lot to check
emails and make contact with friends and relatives in Australia.and the
cost of using it when available via tv was very expensive. (Probably due
to log in times varying). " The best thing about Oaks Hyde Park Plaza was:"Location for central Sydney" The worst thing about Oaks Hyde Park Plaza was:"Shabby decor."
