The original hotel building was built in 1874 but was extensively renovated in 1999. This redevelopment has resulted in a stylish boutique complex with new extensions which highlight the original historic building. The "new" Victoria complex comprises of luxurious suites and apartments, featuring aged timbers, sandstone fireplaces, leather furnishings, entertainment centre, fully equipped kitchen and air-conditioning and heating, granite bathrooms, some with luxurious spas.
