Hotel Tigra, a historic yet modern City Hotel, is located in a quiet side-street, right off the Hofburg, in the heart of Vienna.

The composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, together with Joahnn Sebastian Bach, is recognized as undisputed genius of music. His vast musical heritage of 24 stage productions, 17 compositions for mass and more than 50 sinphonies make him the central figure of classical music, on which he exercised great influence even far beyond his death.
From July to September 1773 Mozart stayed in Vienna. The experiencing of Vienna's musical scene set forth his path to become the master of German Art. Today, a memorial plate on the wall of "Tiefer Graben 18", todays Hotel Tigra, is reminding the visitor of Mozart's royal times in Vienna.
