Bursting with character, De Barge offers the perfect combination to encapsulate your Brugge experience. The Venice of the North as it is fondly known, famous for its canals and unrivalled beauty, matched with an authentic canal boat renovated to bring you a "boatiful" little hotel with a great seafood restaurant to boot! The cabins are small yet functional and offer twin or single beds and a small en suite WC. Each cabin has a small port hole for water views. Perched on the edge of the canal, you'll love the convenience of being so close to both the main train station and Brugge old city. This is surely a pleasant alternative worth considering to enjoy Brugge to the max!

| Restaurant:- | One of the hotel's strengths lies in its wonderful restaurant. The theme is seafood and Gourmet Bistro, and the place is usually heaving which is always a good sign. There is a nautical theme throughout and the large tank of fresh lobster gives and indication that they obviously rustle up a mean lobster grill. The restaurant is open daily except Sundays, Mondays and January. Open Tuesday - Saturday from 12pm - 2.30pm and 7pm - 9.30pm |

| Disabled facilities:- | Not suitable, the boat is narrow and there are narrow galley steps which render this unsuitable for wheelchair use. |
| 20 mins walk:- | Old Brugge, Lake of Love, Museum, Concert Hall, Canal Trips, shops.

| Public transport:- | Central train station is just 800m from the hotel, whilst a bus can be caught from the main road just 500m from the boat.

| From the airport:- | The train can be obtained using your same eurostar ticket at no extra cost, or alternatively a train from the airport will be approx c. 25 Euros. A taxi may also be obtained for a direct journey though this will be a considerably more expensive option. Brugge is also only 16km from the seaport of Oostende. |
| Parking:- | There is free uncovered parking outside the hotel.

| Bar:- | The nautical bar is open daily (except Sundays , Mondays and January) between 12pm and 11pm.
|
| Room facilities:- | The cabins are bijoux, and very charismatic, they have little port holes, a small WC with a shower and each cabin has a colour TV and direct dial telephone. |
| Reception:- | The reception is operated until late evening but is not manned 24hrs.

| Breakfast Room:- | A buffet breakfast is served in the main restaurant |
