In the summer of 2006, we will be lowering the drawbridge and opening the doors to a very special hotel: the Copenhagen Island, a state-of-the-art hotel in an exquisite design, with a wonderful view of the harbor. The extraordinary architecture and the many luxurious facilities of Copenhagen Island will make the hotel unique and not comparable to other hotels. We have deliberately chosen to underline this fact by letting the hotel experience speak for itself a pearl of design in Copenhagen.
The hotel, designed by the architect Kim Utzon, is located on an island in the middle of Copenhagen harbor, and offers 326 rooms and meeting facilities for up to 90 persons, as well as a fitness centre, business centre and an exciting restaurant. The experience will be exquisite! Like the other hotels in the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, the Copenhagen Island has been created on the basis of the Group's philosophy for hotel operations: "A unique hotel in a unique building with a unique location".
Experience the luxurious conference facilities of Copenhagen Island where light, glass and water creates a unique environment, with exquisite design, modern comfort and a high service level.
Copenhagen Island offers 10 exclusive and innovative conference rooms of different sizes, all with air condition, daylight and the latest technical equipment. Several rooms have a marvelous view of the Copenhagen Harbor.
We have room for 48 persons in classroom-style seating and 90 in theatre-style seating, and we also offer more intimate surroundings for smaller meetings. We offer 3 different meeting packages, and should you have a wish for a tailor-made solution, this would also be a possibility. If you only want the use of the room, with out a meeting package, that can also be arranged.

"Great hotel & fantastic breakfast

"We were only in Copenhagen for the weekend. The hotel was close enough
to walk from the train station (about 20 minutes) which was perfect for
us. We could easily walk to all of the main attractions. Our room was
quite small, but the great buffet breakfast and amazing pillows & duvets
more than made up for the room size.

"Good hotel to stay in , but not sure if it is worth the fairly high
price tag for Copenhagen. Very clean , very modern but lacking a bit of
personality. Food good , bar location and design excellent (but you have
to go right to the basement to get a drink)
