| The 65 buildings of the hotel are the largest exhibit of the Museum Kurá Hulanda, a superb collection of 18th and 19th century architecture. This Dutch colonial historic district is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The luxurious resort comprises a total of 80 rooms is part of the Kura Hulanda village project, an intiative by Jacob Gelt Dekker. This historical and environmentally-friendly project was funded by the Jade Foundation, founded by Jacob Gelt Dekker und John Padget. Opened on 1st November 2001, the luxurious boutique resort includes a cloakroom, a small supermarket, a hairdresser, a bar, a casino, a restaurant, public Internet access, room service, and parking for those arriving by car. |

This hotel is located above glorious St Anna Bay, in the centre of Willemstad (capital of Curaçao) and near the Queen Emma Bridge. Guests will reach the airport in approximately 15 minutes by car from here.

The rooms all come with an Indian marble en suite bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobe, a stocked minibar, centrally regulated air conditioning, a ceiling fan, cable TV with remote control, a teak wardrobe, and a butler service. In addition, a portable stereo CD player, 110 V outlets next to the table in every room, a telephone (system available in English, Dutch, French, and Spanish and can be programmed for wake-up calls in these languages) with a modem and answering machine, and a hire safe are also provided in every room as standard.

There are two spectacular swimming pools to be found in the hotel grounds: the eco pond pool, a grotto surrounded by natural rocks and fed by a waterfall, and the more traditional Bolivar pool near the Indian sculpture garden and the children's pool. Further leisure options include a sauna. Sports enthusiasts may also enjoy a work-out in the gym, and additional activities include sailing, diving, and cycling/ mountain biking. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to an from the Hotel Kurá Hulanda Spa & Casino private beach club. There is also an 18-hole golf course situated in the vicinity.
