Popular with divers since opening in August 2005, this hotel and beach club also attracts couples and families seeking a serene setting with panoramic Caribbean sea views. The hotel offers 74 guestrooms and suites, in 11 pastel, two-story, oceanfront buildings and 10 brightly coloured, two-story octagonal buildings. Grounds include a secluded Japanese garden, native trees, cactus gardens, flowering bushes and tamarind and breadfruit trees. Facilities include a bar and a restaurant, as well as conference facilities and Internet access. Room and laundry services are also provided, along with parking facilities for those arriving by car.

This hotel is located on the western end of the island of Curacao, a unique resort with a beachfront location. Willemstad is located just over 3 km away and the Aquarium, the Maritime Museum and the Hato Caves are all within 3.5 km. It is also located 30 minutes from Curacao Hato International Airport.

Balconies and patios in all the accommodation face the gardens or the Caribbean Sea. Beds are covered with 300-thread-count Egyptian-cotton sheets and white duvets. High-speed Internet access is complimentary and the rooms also feature cable TV, an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a radio, a fridge, a tea/coffee maker, ironing equipment, air conditioning and a safe. Decor includes tile floors and caramel-coloured rattan furniture.

The 15x15 m pool is a feature of the grounds, and large thatched shades border the sun terrace. Use of a tennis court is complimentary for all guests during the day, with a surcharge for play when floodlit. Yoga and aerobics (complimentary for all guests) are provided on a sea-view terrace with a conical thatched roof outside a large air-conditioned gym (also complimentary for all guests). The gym contains weight machines, cardio equipment and free weights. Hiking, mountain biking, sailing and diving are other popular pursuits. Christoffel National Park, 6.5 km away, features trails, wildlife-watching, caves and historic sites.
