| Description of the Merchants House Hotel |
Beautifully renovated 14th and 16th century buildings in the heart of the old town. Old and new are stylishly combined to create a unique, boutique hotel. Welcoming contemporary reception; bedrooms are individual with their own distinctive charm. Modern and elegant in style but original features such as beams, hand painted ceilings and fireplaces have been retained. The hotel features Ice Bar (with shot glasses moulded from ice!) Cafe Time and intimate a la carte restaurant KN with cosy, hidden corners and vaulted ceiling. This is a fantastic, charming hotel so you can really experience old town Tallinn.

| Restaurant:- | KN Restaurant is the hotels a la carte restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is located on lower level of the hotel and has an intimate, relaxed ambience. Serves modern Mediterranean and English food. |
| Families:- | There are cots and highchairs available for children and a children's menu is available in the restaurant. There are rooms (mainly suites) suitable for 2 adults and 2 children so these are subject to availability and supplements. |
| Business facilities:- | There is one meeting room with maximum capacity for 35 pax; equipment such as flip chart, projector, screen, stereo available to hire. |
| Disabled facilities:- | The hotel is not ideally suited to wheelchair users as there are steps to public areas including restaurant and to the bedrooms. |

| Public transport:- | The nearest bus stop to the hotel is Vabaduse valjak which is jut 500m away |
| From the airport:- | Taxi to the hotel takes about 15mins and costs approx 200EEK (13 Euros); there is a bus from the airport which costs approx15EEK and stops at A. Laikmaa approx 1km from the hotel. |
| Parking:- | There is limited uncovered parking at cost of €16.00 per night |
| Bar:- | There is Ice Bar which is a cosy bar area which has speciality of shot glasses moulded from ice! Plus Cafe Time which serves snack menu. In summer months there is also seating in the courtyard. Open daily from 10.00 to 02.00 |
| Spa:- | There is a sauna and a relaxing room at the hotel which is open from 08.00 to 21.00 and free of charge to hotel guests. Beauty treatments can also be organised if booked in advance with the hotel |
| Room facilities:- | There are smoking and non-smoking rooms available; all bedrooms are unique and vary in size due to the age of the building. Many rooms feature original features such as beams and paintings on wood or ceilings; the style of the rooms is contemporary with LCD televisions; heated floors in bathrooms, mini bars, bathrobes and slippers. Some rooms have shower and bath and some are shower only. |
