Albi is one of the most beautiful towns in France, with its magnificent cathedral of rose-coloured brick (13th to 16th century), its old quarter, the 11th century bridge over the river Tarn, its famous Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, the church of St Salvy with its Roman Cloister and the Gaillac vineyard. Moreover the town is a fantastic base from which to discover the delights of this beautiful region: Castres with its Goya museum, Cordes-sur-Ciel and its fortifications, Toulouse the \"\"ville rose\"\" (pink city), making Albi a major magnet for tourists. Despite being just 500 metres from the Toulouse Lautrec Museum and the cathedral of Sainte Cecile, this establishment enjoys a calm setting. The nearest coach/bus station may be found a couple of paces from the hotel whereas the nearest major railway station, Gare d'Albi, is around 3 km away and it is some 75 km to Toulouse Blagnac airport.
