Facing the Spa Centre with its world renowned Casino and the exquisite theatre, this building, rich in tradition, radiates the charm of the Belle Epoque. Guests who reside in the "Steigenberger Europäischer Hof" on the Kaiserallee in Baden-Baden, have chosen a first-class establishment. From most of the rooms in the "Europe", as the hotel is fondly called, guests can enjoy the view over the beautiful old Spa Park and the Spa Centre. In addition to our comfortable rooms, the "Markgrafen Suite", with a multi-sensory bathroom in white Italian marble and a whirlpool and massage showers, and the "Bénazet Suite", with its large roof terrace, are the pride of our hotel. This renowned establishment has gone down in the hotel history of this spa town on the Oos as the "Hôtel de 'l Europe", and today many guests still fondly call their residence in Baden-Baden the "Europe". The founding hotel of the Steigenberger Hotels AG, the "Steigenberger Europäischer Hof", as it is officially called today, lies on the magnificent Kaiserallee and dates from the time of the Emperor.
According to legend Baden Baden's beautiful, spacious and liberal townscape came into being thanks to a mishap of the gods. Long ago, while playing with their "historical building bricks", the gods seem to have got a bit mixed up with their architectural epochs. At a loss, they then finally each chose their favourite building and put them together on this delightful spot. And that is how Baden-Baden came into being, in the valley of the Oos, just west of the Black Forest. With Romanesque and Renaissance buildings, from the age of Classicism and the end of the 19th century. Examples of these epochs include the "Neue Schloss", the renowned Casino, the "Reiherbrunnen" as well as "Schloss Favorite".
