| Description of the Intercontinental Berlin Hotel |
| This traditional hotel was built in 1958 and completely renovated in 2003. Spread over 14 floors, it comprises a total of 584 rooms, of which 36 are junior suites, 50 are suites and 2 are wheelchair-accessible. Guests may make use of the elegant lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and lifts, a currency exchange counter and safes. There is also a hairdressing salon, shops, a café, a cosy bar, an excellent air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants, and a refectory. Business guests may make use of the conference rooms and the Internet terminals with WLAN Internet access (for an additional fee). Room and laundry services as well as medical assistance are available (for an additional fee). Guests planning excursions may take advantage of the bicycle hire service and storage room. Those arriving by car may take advantage of hotel car park or (for an additional fee) the garage. |

This modern and luxurious business hotel is centrally located, directly by the park and just a few minutes' walk from impressive Potsdamer Platz (c. 2 km). It is only 800 m to the zoo and the Zoologischer Garten train station, as well as the Kaufhaus des Westens department store on the Kurfürstendamm. With its good transport connections, all the sights are within easy reach. The Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate are only c. 30 minutes on foot. The transfer time to Tegel airport is approximately 30 minutes and to Schönefeld airport 35 minutes.

The luxuriously furnished rooms come with a bathroom with shower, bath and hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a hi-fi stereo with radio, Internet access. a minibar, a tea and coffee making machine, iron and ironing board, double or king-size bed, and a safe. All rooms have air conditioning and central heating which can be individually adjusted.

Guests may select their continental breakfast, midday and evening meals from the buffet. Lunch and dinner may also be taken à la carte. Furthermore, special dietary requirements can be catered for as well as individual specific dishes prepared.
