Located in the South West part of the city, close to the World Fashion Centre the Bastion Centrum-Zuidwest is a good option for budget conscious travellers. Good public transport links will take you to the lively Leidseplein in only 5- 10 minutes on the tram, from where you can easily reach many of the attractions on foot. The hotel itself offers a comfortable base to stay, the rooms are decorated in warm colours and there is a cosy bar and restaurant on site too. Good value for money!

Take a train from the airport to Lelylaan Station (approx. 8 min and costs around 2.70 € for a single fare), then take tram line 1 to Surinameplein station (2 stops). A taxi will take about 15 minutes from the airport and will cost about €25
