Traditional hotel with a superb central location just across from Dam Square and adjacent to the popular Magna Plaza Shopping Centre. The bedrooms are relatively modern in style and well equipped. 'Die Poort' restaurant with adjoining café is full of character and legendary for its steaks, which since 1870, they have served with a token showing what number steak it is to be served. The charming hotel bar which was the place where the Heineken brewery first started has kept many of its features from the 19th century and retaining many of the original ornaments including an impressive collection of Delft pottery.

"The hotel was central to everywhere we wanted to go so we got to do all
we wanted to do in a relatively short space of time. Only regret is that
we didn't stay for longer. The staff were friendly and helpful and the
service was great. Would definitely stay there again, without
hesitation"
