Description of the Golden Tulip Amsterdam Centre Hotel
In a great location in the historical heart of the city the Golden Tulip Amsterdam Centre is a modern four star hotel, just a short walk from both Central Station and Dam Square. Bedrooms can vary in size as the hotel consists of several old townhouses, but all are pleasantly decorated, comfortable and have good facilities. There's an agreement with the restaurant next door meaning guests can charge meals to their room, or alternatively there's a wide choice of good eating and drinking options in the surrounding area. The nearest tram stop is only around a 30 second walk from the entrance of the hotel and several different trams use this stop.
From the airport:-
The cheapest option of getting to the hotel is to take a train to Central Station direct from the airport (approx €4) and then walk to the hotel (approx 5 minutes). Alternatively a taxi should cost approx €35 and takes around 20 minutes.
Parking:-
Public parking can be found close to the hotel and costs approx €40 per day. Discount cards are available at the reception and so please ask for details.
Bar:-
The bar is open every evening from 16:00 to 12:00.
