Danubius Hotel Helia is located on the left-bank side of Budapest, opposite to Margaret Island, near the city centre.
After a hectic day, what could be a better retreat than a nice room? All rooms have a bath, individually controlled air-conditioning, colour satellite TV, direct dial telephone, minibar, view on the River Danube, Margaret Island, the Buda Hills or the city, some rooms have balconies. Three non-smoking floors, connecting rooms and rooms for handicapped guests are available as well. ISDN connection is provided in the suites.

The four-star hotel, spa, wellness and conference hotel, built in Scandinavian style, was opened in 1990 and partially renovated in 2003-2005. Natural thermal water is pumped to the hotel spa from springs on the nearby Margaret Island, which is famous in Budapest for its high quality medical and relaxation services.
