Description of the Park Avenue Hotel

Modern hotel located on the Holywood Road between the city centre and Stormont, also ideally located for Belfast City airport. The hotel was completely renovated in 1999 so rooms are bright and comfortable and of a good size. The hotel restaurant called 'The Griffin' is well known within Belfast and offers good level of cuisine and service. There is also a traditional Irish pub style bar at the hotel.


Restaurant:-	'Griffin' restaurant serves traditional cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Closed on Christmas Day
Families:-	Cots available for babies, children's menu and highchairs in the restaurant. Camp beds available on request for families.

Disabled facilities:-	There is ramp access to the hotel and all public areas as well as disabled public toilets. There are specially equipped/adapted bedrooms.
20 mins walk:-	Belfast City Centre is approx 5-10mins by taxi. Near to the hotel is Belmont Road with various local shops, Strand Cinema, Victoria Park and the buildings of Stormont
Public transport:-	Bus stop on Holywood Road just few metres from hotel which takes you into the city centre
From the airport:-	Belfast City airport is very close to the hotel approx. 5-10 mins away and c.£5 by taxi. Belfast International airport is 30 mins away and approx £25 by taxi. Alternatively there is a bus which goes to Belfast city centre and costs approx £6, then taxi from city centre to hotel is approx £5.
Parking:-	Free of charge for hotel guests. First come first serve basis.
Bar:-	Bar is styled like a traditional Irish pub and open from 11.00 to 23.00 daily. Bar snacks are available Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 21.00 and on Saturdays from 12.00 to 19.00. Closed Christmas Day.
