This hotel enjoys a unique location overlooking the bay, located on the cliffside above the town of Amalfi. The Excelsior offers a great range of facilities including private beach, outdoor pool with bar and restaurant. There are plenty of spacious public areas, both inside and outside, where guests can relax and enjoy the stunning views. Bedrooms can be quite simple for a hotel of this category, although still comfortable. Amalfi centre is easily accessed by a bus which stops outside the hotel and from Amalfi guests can explore the whole coast by bus or boat.

| 20 mins walk:- | Continuing upwards past the hotel there is the small village of Pogerola which has a few shops and bars. The walk into Amalfi centre is about half an hour, down the winding mountain road, but just by the hotel is a bus service which reaches the centre in ten minutes. |

| From the airport:- | Taxi (c.90/100 Euros) direct to hotel (approx. 60 mins). Alternatively bus can be taken from Naples airport to Sorrento, then another bus from there to Amalfi. From Amalfi centre short bus or taxi ride to hotel. |

| Bar:- | Open 10am - 12am and also serves snacks |
| Pool:- | Outdoor pool open according to season |
| Directions:- | From Naples take exit "Castellammare". Continue and after tunnel turn right towards Gragnano/Agerola. Follow winding road until you see the Excelsior on the right hand side. |
