On the Levant Riviera, in the enchanting setting of the Tigullian Gulf, the Ligurian town presents itself as the most important point for local tourists.

Rapallo is surrounded by hills, making the climate very mild, and shows a splendid landscape with wide promenades on the seaside. Enjoy the beaches and the long expanses of sand and cobble stones, as well as the bright historical center that is situated in the immediate hinterland. It is the starting point for excursions by boat to Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, San Fruttuoso and Cinque Terre, or the Montallegro Sanctuary, which is easily reachable by funicular.

The hotels construction dates back to 1908 and is characterized by its elegant liberty-style façade crowned by two large domes located at either end of the building. The grounds of the eleven storey hotel include tracts of parkland, home to a profusion of trees and shrubs including magnolia, camellia, cluster-pine, rhododendron and azalea.

This hotel, with its rich historical background, was inaugurated on January 11th, 1911. Since then its halls have been the meeting place for historical and political figures such as Benito Mussolini, the English Minister for Foreign Affairs Austen Chamberlain and the British Chancellor William Churchill.

The hotels 86 rooms and suites all provide a magnificent view of the Portofino promontory and each room has its own private balcony overlooking the sea.

There are two restaurants specializing in international cuisine, as well as catering banquets and private receptions. Le Cupole is located in the roof garden, providing a unique view of the Gulf of Tigullio. Both offer excellent à la carte menus that include typical Ligurian cuisine prepared by our master chefs.

At the Health & Fitness Centre - to be found next to the sea-water swimming pool - guests will find a Turkish bath, sauna, whirlpool and fully equipped gym. Beauty treatments are also available.
