Description of the Europa (Peschiera Del Garda) Hotel
Desenzano is one of the larger towns on the south of the lake and offers plenty of opportunity for shopping, eating out and relaxation. The fact that is has a train station makes is easily accessible for those not wishing to hire a car. The Hotel Europa is right on the lakeside so offers delightful views. Rooms are simply decorated but comfortable and guests have the convenience of a restaurant if they choose not to eat out. This is a great base to explore Lake Garda and also visit nearby beautiful cities such as Verona and Venice.

Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the marina where the boats around the lake arrive/deoart. The train station is approx. 25 mins walk and there is a bus stop approx 20 m from the hotel.
From the airport:-
From Brescia airport: Taxi approx. 50 euro, 30 minutes or alternatively taxi or bus to Brescia train station then train to Peschiera del Garda station then short taxi ride or 25 min walk to hotel. From Verona airport: Taxi approx. 60 euro, 30 mins. From Bergamo Orio al Serio airport: Short taxi ride to train station then train to Peschiera del Garda (usually one change) approx. 10 euro, 2 hours.
