| From the airport:- | Milan Malpensa is approx. 40 km a direct taxi costs c. 80 Euros and takes c. 40 mins. by car). There are buses which run between the airport and Stresa during the holiday season (contact local tourist office for up to date details). Alternatively clients can take a taxi from airport to Gallarate train station (c. 10 mins) and from there take train to Stresa (c. 30 mins). From Linate, which is approx. 70 km from Lake Maggiore, clients should go to Milan centre and then take train or bus to Stresa (approx. 1 ½ hours by train). |
