The Grand Hotel Guinigi, opened during the spring of 1993, is a four-star hotel. It has 168 rooms, each with its own air conditioning, bath, sat-tv, minibar, safe, telephone, hairdryer, and fax. In the piano-bar, besides tasting a drink in a relax mode, private parties and dinners can be organized. The restaurant can satisfy the most demanding clientele with its local, domestic and international cuisine. The Grand Hotel Guinigi is the ideal place to hold meetings and exhibition shows. The Grand Hotel Guinigi is located at about one mile from the historical center of Lucca, city known worldwide for its rich past of independent Republic, but mainly for its monumental walls surrounding the old town. To reach the center of the town there is a comfortable bus, departing from the hotel every twenty minutes, which takes you to destination within ten minutes ride. Using the Firenze-Mare Highway number "A 11" you can reach the Grand Hotel Guinigi within forty minutes from Florence or twenty from the famous beaches of the Versilia Riviera.
