The attractive hilltop town of Bettona forms the southern angle of an upside-down triangle, with Perugia and Assisi forming the other 2 angles. It is 4 km away, on the side of a gently sloping hill. Bettona has an ancient past as an Etruscan city and Roman place in fact Etruscan stone fortifications can still be traced in its northern walls. Here are also to be found all essential shops, bars, chemists and bank.

In the ground floor is sitting/dining room and kitchen corner with open fireplace, hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, 2 double bedded rooms, small bathroom with hipbath, WC and shower room with WC.

Swimming pool opens between May and September (weather permitting).

How to get there:

From Milan/Bologna: follow the A1 Highway towards Firenze/Rome. From Pisa Airport: take the blue sign direction Firenze. Exit at Scandicci and follow the green motorway signs for Firenze/Rome. Collect a ticket at the toll booth and follow the A1 Autostrada direction Rome. Exit the A1 motorway at Valdichiana and join the Superstrada E45 diretion Perugia. From either of Rome Airports: follow the green motorway signs direction Firenze and Grande Raccordo Annulare Nord (this is the ring road around Rome). Once on the Grande Raccordo Annulare head north direction Firenze on the A1 motorway. Exit the A1 motorway at Orte and join the E45 superstrada direction Perugia. All drivers: exit the E45 Superstrada at Forgiano and continue in the direction of Bettona and take the Strada Provinciale 4023 direction Cinque Cerri. It is approximately 4 km along this road, on the left hand side and sign posted Colle Delle Ginestre.
