| This air-conditioned city hotel is set in a historic building from the 18th century. The hotel interiors were designed to provide guests with the best in hospitality and comfort. It was opened in the year 2000 and renovated in the year 2001, and comprises a total of 48 rooms, of which one is disability-friendly, spread over 3 floors. It offers its guests a luxurious garden with a terrace, as well as an entrance hall with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. In addition to this, the hotel has a TV room, a dining room, a café, a newspaper stand, a bar and a restaurant. This hotel offers its guests incomparable views over the city of Rome. According to the diarist De Brosses, who wrote in the 18th century and was a French admirer of Italian properties, this hotel alone is justification enough to visit Italy. Just a few metres from the hotel guests will find the ruins of the Mura Gianicolensi city walls, which begin at \"\"Porta Portese\"\" and run on to Gianicolo Hill then connect to the walls of the Vatican close to \"\"Porta Cavalleggeri\"\". The hotel is just around 1.5 km from the city centre. There are restaurants and a link to the public transport network just a short walk away. Ciampino Airport is about 35 km away and Leonardo Da Vinci Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel premises.

The rooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with every modern convenience. The bathroom is fitted with either a shower cubicle or a hydro-massage bathtub and a hairdryer. Furthermore, a direct dial telephone, a colour satellite TV, wireless Internet access, a minibar, a double or king-size bed, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating and a safe come as standard in all rooms.

By car: from the bypass (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take exit number 1 (Aurelia Centro, Vaticano), then drive onto Via Aurelia towards Anticaporta and San Pancrazio. From Termini Station (metro line B) take bus 75 (Piramide - Piazzale Ostiense, metro line B) to the hotel bus stop, Via Carini, (around 200 m away), or bus 44: Piazza Venezia: hotel bus stop Via Carini (200 m distance), or tram number 8: Largo Argentina: Viale Trastevere - Ministry of Education, bus number 115: Trastavere or bus number 870 Gianicolo Vaticano.
