Description of the Montaperti Hotel

This lovely hotel is situated on a hill outside Siena which allows for wonderful views over the Tuscan countryside - in fact the hotel claims that no less than 100 of its windows look out towards Siena. The design of the hotel is stylish and contemporary, with light woods, strong colours and impressive art works making both the public areas and the bedrooms very pleasant places to be. Most bedrooms offer views over the vineyards and countryside and all are well appointed and spacious. The restaurant too is highly recommended.


Restaurant:-	"1260" Restaurant open from 7.30pm until 9.45pm serving Italian and Tuscan dishes in an elegant style.
Families:-	Hotel has interconnecting rooms available on request and also high chairs available in the restaurant.
Business facilities:-	Three meeting rooms: one for up to 220 people, one for 80 people and one for up to 30 people.
Disabled facilities:-	Hotel is accessible for wheelchair users, although there are no specially adapted bathrooms in the bedrooms.
20 mins walk:-	Guests can take walks in the surrounding countryside and to the small town of Casetta. To reach Siena, guests will need to take a car or alternatively take a bus from Casetta.
Public transport:-	Nearest bus stop is in Casetta, which is a short walk from the hotel. From here buses 5 and 32 go to Piazza del Sale in Siena
From the airport:-	From Florence airport, take train from Florence to Siena, then taxi approx. 15 mins to hotel (c. 25 euro).
Parking:-	Private uncovered parking free for guests.
Bar:-	Open from 4pm until 11pm and serving light snacks.
Gym:-	Mini-gym available free to guests. Open 9am until 9pm.
Room facilities:-	Non-smoking rooms available on request, most bedrooms have pay-tv and tea & coffee facilties.
Pool:-	Good-sized swimming pool is covered from Autumn to Spring and then open-air in the summer period. Usually open 9am until 9pm.
Directions:-	From direction of Milan: A1 motorway in direction Roma, then south of Florence (Firenze), take the exit "Firenze Certosa". Continue towards Arezzo-Roma. After 9 Km, take the exit CASETTA, on the right, and turn immediately to the right toward Asciano-Arbia, after the village Casetta, on the right is the hotel. If coming from the south follow the A1 motorway and take the exit "Val di Chiana" leading to the main road for Siena. Around 6 Km before Siena, take the exit "CASETTA" on the right, then as above.
