Description of the Hungaria Palace On Venice Lido Hotel

The Hungaria Palace is probably one of the most famous hotels on Venice Lido. Built in 1905 the influence of the Art Nouveau style is evident throughout. Perhaps most striking is the exterior, beautifully decorated with individual coloured tiles, creating a stunning effect. The interior is decorated with frescoes and other original Art Nouveau touches and has been lovingly maintained to create an elegant atmosphere. Bedrooms are decorated in a light, "Liberty" Art Nouveau style on the first to third floor and in pastel shades on the fourth. A delightful hotel for the traveller who looks for a touch of elegance of a by-gone age!

From the airport:-	Take the Venice Airport bus from just outside the terminal for the 3 minute transfer to the boarding point for all boats to the mainland, then take public boat direct to the Lido (approx. 40 mins), 10 Euros. Private water taxi approx. 85 euro.
Parking:-	Nearest parking if driving from airport is on Venice mainland, Piazzale Roma. Hotel also has free private uncovered parking.
Bar:-	Bar located in the elegant lounge area with original frescoes, serves drinks including cocktails & also snacks. Open 10am - midnight.
Room facilities:-	Bedrooms on the first three floors are decorated in a Liberty, Art Nouveau style with dark woods and cream and white furnishings. The fourth floor was recently renovated and is decorated in a traditional style with pastel shades. No-smoking rooms are available.
