"This is the second time staying at the Duodo Palace. You must get a
water taxi from the airport - 90 Euro - but worth it. (The people who
checked in as we were checking out will testify as it took them 2 hours
to find the hotel).
It is easy to find - right by the Fenice Opera Theatre. St Marks is a 5 minute stroll in 1 direction and the Rialto 10 minutes in the other direction. The rooms were better last time, but still very clean and comfortable with sparkling bathrooms.
We stayed over new year and the hotel left breakfast available until 12.00 which was a godsend. They also allowed us to check out after that, and stored our bags safely until we left at 5.

"My girlfriend and myself stayed in this hotel recently and only paid
£224 between us for 4 nights. We even managed to stay in the best room
in the hotel with best bathroom somehow too....although we only paid for
a standard. Staff were excellent, very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate
to go back to this hotel.
