Located in a prime location right behind St. Mark's Square, the Luna Hotel Baglioni is Venice's oldest hotel dating from the 12th century. The hotel's décor is in traditional Venetian style, the lounge area is elegantly decorated with marble floor and Murano glass chandeliers. The classy bedrooms combine functionality with elegance, large in size and all have antique Venetian furniture with colour scheme varying accordingly. Clients can enjoy fine dining at the "Canova" restaurant serving regional cuisine and a great selection of Italian and foreign wines in a cosy atmosphere. | From the airport:- | Marco Polo International Airport is c. 4 and 1/2 miles (7 Km) from San Marco Square and the hotel. A boat from the Airport to San Marco Square takes a c. 30minutes and costs c. 11.00 Euros per person. Taxis take c. 25 minutes to the hotel and cost c. 90.00 Euros. |
| Parking:- | Piazzale Roma public parking is c. 1.5 Km from the hotel and costs c. 30.00 Euros a day. |
| Bar:- | The "Café Baglioni Bar" located alongside an intimate little canal and with a beautiful view of the Giardini Reali is open from 10.30am until 1.00am serving snacks, fresh juices and cocktails. |
| Room facilities:- | C. 28 sq metres (room and bathroom). Rooms are either with twin beds or double bed is traditionally decorated with period-style furniture and fine draperies. Silk fabrics cover the walls whilst hand blown Venetian chandeliers and stucco adorn the ceilings. Rooms have an elegant entrance, an Italian marble bathroom, and a pleasant and comfortable bedroom fitted out to cater for every need and sleep up to three people with an extra bed. They look out onto Venice's narrow streets or small internal courtyards. |

| Suites:- | C. 50 sq metres. Suites are luxuriously furnished with period furniture, objects d'art and elegant curtains in different shades. Some of these are (on this floor there is a Venetian roof terrace with views over Venice's rooftops and St Mark's basin), the 'Sansovino' which has a large terrace offering a fantastic view over St Mark's basin and the island of San Giorgio, ideal for candlelight dinner during the good season.
