Description of the Hotel Riga

The hotel was built in 1878, but it was completely destroyed during the Second World War and in 1956 it was completely built. The Riga Hotel has lots of hidden history: it had the first lift and telephone in all hotels in Riga. Fantastic location, on the edge of the old city and just across the street from the Latvian National Opera; this traditional, elegant hotel enjoys an ideal location, in the heart of the city. The hotel furniture may look a bit dated, but it is clean and comfortable. A casino, 2 restaurants and a nightclub are available in the hotel.


Restaurant:-	The hotel restaurant "Grill 89" offers various meals; dishes of the day and an a la carte menu. Food is freshly cooked using local produce. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
