Welcome to Hotel Valdemars, a modern hotel in a historical building, right in the center of the vibrant and lively city of Riga. Valdemars is a completely renovated family owned hotel within the beautiful shell of an Art Nouveau building from 1901.

Riga is a city yet to be explored by many. This 800 year old Hansa city invites people from all continents and hosts a range of exciting things to do. In the areas of interests, a guest in Riga will find a wide variety of leisure activities as well as business obligations. A weekend in Riga may include a walk through the beautiful Old town with its magnificent buildings, a stroll on Alberta iela (around the corner from Hotel Valdemars), which is known for its preserved Art Nouveau architecture and then perhaps end the day with a relaxing opera or simply a coffee at one of the charming cafés in town.

The hotel features a fully equipped kitchen and bar, allowing our guests to enjoy everything from a refreshing drink to a full course meal prepared by our Swedish chef.

Our beautiful library has been carefully renovated so as to keep it the way it looked when the house was built in 1901. Today it is used for everything from private dinners to the filming of speeches and even wedding receptions!
Our preserved and unique halls from the early nineteen-hundreds make your conference and/or banquet a memorable experience. The appealing atmosphere combined with the latest technological equipment gives you and your group the utmost means for a productive conference.

We offer our guests 83 rooms that are carefully decorated in a Scandinavian style. They provide our guests with all the necessary commodities and services.
Our rooms feature anything you might need in order to have a very comfortable stay. Theyre ideally suited for you, whether youre in town for business or pleasure. A large bathroom with a spacious shower combined with the oak wood floors, give the room a relaxing air which makes your stay even more enjoyable. The single is a nice cozy room to come back to after a day full of adventures.
