The hotel lies in the heart of Desaru in Johor, one of the most beautiful, unspoilt beaches on the east coast of the Malaysian peninsular. With a 22 km stretch of uninterrupted beach, Desaru combines the captivating panoramic views of the South China Sea with lush tropical rainforests, where visitors can have their choice of fun and adventure or simply rest and relax.

All the spacious en suite rooms come with a separate long bath and shower, a hairdryer and toiletries. They also feature air conditioning units that can be centrally regulated, a TV, local and IDD dial telephone, a mini bar, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a safe.

Guests may dine at the hotel's selection of restaurants which feature an exciting selection of local and international cuisine, including Japanese dishes. Guests may also unwind or entertain in the lounge or at the bar and pick up a snack at the deli. Room service is also available.

Massage and spa treatments are available at the hotel. The resort offers a range of water sports activities which include jet skiing, snorkelling, water skiing, banana boat rides and canoeing, all of which are subject to a fee. Guests can have fun on land cycling or playing tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, netball, soccer or archery, for which fees also apply. Also subject to a fee, the hotel offers an activity programme for children. Golfing can be arranged with the neighbouring golf course, Desaru Golf and Country Club, located only 10 minutes away, as well as at the Sebana Cove Marina and Golf Resort, situated only 30 minutes away. The hotel offers guests use of the gym free of charge.

| How to get there: |
The hotel is an ideal getaway and is easily accessible from Singapore and Johor Bahru. It is a hassle free 25-minute journey by ferry from Changi Ferry Terminal to Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal, and then only a 20-minute transfer from Tanjung Belungkor to the hotel. Alternatively guests travelling to the hotel by car can make the 2-hour drive from Singapore. Guests will pass satellite towns such as Ulu Tiram and Kota Tinggi where fruit farms, roadside stalls, nurseries, pottery workshops and settlements can be seen. The new expressway-cum-bridge, due to be completed in 2007, will reduce travelling time from Johor Bahru to 40 min.
