The hotel is located 65kms west from the Caribbean city of Chetumal and just 1.6kms from the Mayan site of Kohunlich. The Hondo River, natural border with Belize, is 30kms south from the resort.

There are 40 ample thatched roof guestrooms or cabanas available with jungle views. They are furnished with hand carved wooden furniture and sascab floors just like the ancient Mayan homes. They are equipped with 1 King size bed, hammocks, terrace, AC, balcony, bathrobes, bathroom amenities, ceiling fans, Internet access, hair dryer, living room, voice mail, vanity mirror, safe deposit box, shower, smoke detectors, sprinklers, telephone and wake up call. Extra beds and non smoking rooms are available upon request.
