"The actual hotel was ok and it was nice to have a balcony however the
staff were incredibly rude both on the reception desk and at the buffet.
We were given a room that hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. Plus we
got bitten by bed bugs. I got a stomach bug from the evening buffet and
my partner was given undercooked food at breakfast. I was glad we had
only booked the room for 1 night.

"Good value in a great location

"We enjoyed our stay and were amazed that we were entitled to have 2
meals a day for the very reasonable price we payed for our stay. Clean
towels every day, a balcony, a good bathroom and friendly staff. Being
so close to Djema el Fna is great, we felt part of the city.

The best thing about Ali was:"Location

The worst thing about Ali was: "They repeatedly said breakfast was from 5 o'clock, but when we turned up
at 6.15 we were told that bread would not arrive before 7.00

"The hotel location is great, The food was the same for the 2 days we
stayed at the hotel Ali, The Air condition did not work for one of the
days, and nothing was done to recitfy it, Staff were frendly, two days
was enough for our stay at the hotel Ali.
Apart from things mention the hotel was in a great location, but very basic.

"Hotel ali is in a fantastic location, the staff are all so friendly and
helpful. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. The food was very
nice traditional morrocan food. The staff were helpful and gave us a
early morning call and had breakfast prepared for us at 5.30am, also
they arranged a taxi to take us to the airport.i would gladly recommend
this hotel to all my family and friends.

"Good value, central, very morrocan/atmospheric unhelpful harassed
reception

"A geat total immersion introduction to Marakech. Rooms are adequate
though air con didn't work Mosque directly outside window can be either
plus or minus. Evening buffet was abundant but not particularly tasty.
The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, as were cleaning ladies
but girls on reception were acting as exchange, cooonstantly harassed
and frequently rude and/or unhelpful. The upstairs seating area was a
lovely cool space to chill out and the simpple breakfast - orange juice,
omelette bread and beverage was delicious. Not luxrious but adequately
comfortable and right in the middle of all the action
"
The best thing about Ali was:"Great simple breakfast. Perfect location right in the middle of things.

"Good value for money and very close to the square so could enjoy the
sights and sounds without the hassle. Had a terrace room which made all
the diffirence. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful
though we did not get any good feedback about the hammam or womens
beauty salon , very poor indeed, thus said we will book there again.
"
The best thing about Ali was:"Fantastic lunch and dinner menu
"
The worst thing about Ali was: "No working bulbs so no light in the corridors upstairs
