Located close to Armação de Pera in the Algarve, Portugal, the Pestana Levante Hotel is a smaller hotel offering their guests a traditional Portuguese personalized and welcoming service. Opened originally in 1979, it was completely renovated in 1999 and at the same time a small increase was made in the number of available bedrooms. Now it can offer 88 comfortably furnished twin rooms and its attractive location perched on the top of a small cliff overlooking a sandy beach.
All the rooms have terraces or balconies, air-conditioning, safe, mini-bar, satellite TV and radio. The adult seawater pool is large and heated in the winter months. A separate pool is available for children. A snack bar provides drinks and light snacks in the summer months. In the gardens there is a mini-golf course and there is direct access from this area to the sandy beach below. The hotel restaurant and bar “Vista Mar” provides breakfast and buffet meals in the summer and reverts to à la carte meals in the winter. Other facilities for guest include a games room and a Health Club with a fitness room, sauna and steam baths.
The Hotel is conveniently only 10 minutes walk to the promenade of the nearby holiday town of Armação de Pera. There is an active night atmosphere in the summer months with its crowded streets and many popular bars and restaurants.
