| This recently modernised holiday village is surrounded by greenery-filled grounds and comprises a total of 25 bungalows and 10 double rooms that are housed within traditional rotundas affording the highest levels of modern comfort. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a café, a newspaper stand, a handicrafts shop, a TV room, a restaurant (capacity of 120 persons; highchairs available for infants) offering a range of meals and snacks, and a breakfast room. Moreover, it is possible to chill out in the billiards room or the lobby. There is a laundry service available to guests (fees apply), as well as car parking. |

The holiday village is located in São Jorge, which is situated some 50 km to the northwest of Funchal. The peaceful location and idyllic surrounds make this the ideal stopover point. The houses have been laid out in a terraced style down the hillside as far as the clear Atlantic waters, lying scattered over the green meadows. The damp air during the winter means that the slopes of São Jorge remain lush green throughout the year, with the fruit trees, cornfields, sweet potatoes and citrus fruits providing colourful contrasts. The centre of Santana and the nearby leisure park are both just 10 minutes drive away and it is 37 km to Machico. Madeira airport is approximately 40 km away.

The bungalows and double rooms afford exotic, harmonic architecture and enjoy views out over the sea. All come with a bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and central heating as standard.

Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; the evening meal may be taken à la carte. It is possible to book a half-board stay.

| Sports/Entertainment: |
The complex grounds feature a heated pool around which is a sun terrace where sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use. It is possible to play table tennis or billiards and the local area provides the ideal setting for hikes and cycle rides, with many waterfalls waiting to be marvelled at. During the summer months are lively typical folk festivals at which the opportunity to sample genuine \"\"espetada em pau de louro\"\" (beef on a laurel kebab) and the local wines should not be passed up.
