Buganvilia is situated on the verdant yet rugged south side of the island of Madeira in an ideal location just 2km away from the centre of Funchal, the capital of this beautiful island.For your convenience the hotel operates a free shuttle bus to the town centre. You will also have the use of all facilities at the nearby Mimosa & Estrelicia hotels. The hotel stands on a slight incline 200 metres from the sea and lido complex and 300 meters from Forum Madeira. From here you can also enjoy wonderful views of the bay, and with the added advantage of a small kitchenette in your studio, you can also enjoy some al fresco cooking on your balcony with the option of rustling up some light snacks.

| Restaurant:- | Mermaid restaurant serves International cuisine for half board and full board clients. Open daily from 7.30am till 10am serving buffet breakfast, 1pm till 3pm and 7pm till 9.30pm. |

| From the airport:- | Best route from airport to hotel with public transport is by bus which is direct. Taxi direct from airport to hotel costs approximately €30. |

| Bar:- | No bar at this hotel, but Terrace Bar is open at Dorisol Estrelicia daily serving snacks and light meals from 10am till 6pm (7pm during summer). |
