Greetings from Pan Pacific Singapore! From the moment you arrive, you'll experience more than just a hotel; you will find that all your senses will come alive as they interact with the color and grandeur that is the result of our multi-million dollar remodeling throughout 2004. The phases of development were put in the hands of design firm Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG) from Hawaii, whom were the designers for the hotels contemporary Pacific Floors. We challenged them to re-think the forms and functions of the hotels main entrance, the unique 35 story atrium and the new executive business and meeting facilities on Level 22.
The result will astonish you! The Atrium now encompasses teak louvered screen structures reaching 6.5mtrs (21.3ft) and an intelligent light system that is housed within and programmed to the mood of the day or evening. Competing for attention, will be the most striking mural feature of Singapores national flower, Vanda Miss Joachim Orchid. Each orchid image is three metres (9.8ft) by three metres large and is formed by a series of 10mm (0.03ft) square-cut glass tiles specially imported from Bisazza, Italy, making this along with the fountain feature, the largest mural of its kind in the world.
Of course, our rooms have received some small touches, as we enhance the soft furnishings, including the addition of the Herman Miller 'Aeron' chair and gradually install wireless broadband Internet access with our aim to have wireless connectivity throughout all the major public areas of the hotel. For travelers, Deluxe Rooms present the perfect haven for rest and relaxation with ample space affording beautiful views of Marina Bay and the city skyline. Decorated in a soothing blend of colors with splashes of green and black, the rooms offer the perfect balance in comfort and practicality, with fittings like a work desk and chic Herman Miller ergonomic task chairs while ample marble bathrooms feature separate bath and shower facilities. Other in room amenities include telephone with voicemail, data port, cable/satellite TV, mini-bar, coffee/tea making facilities, safe, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board.
Pan Pacific Singapore is reputed for its authentic, exquisite cuisine offerings. Feast at the hotel's award-winning Hai Tien Lo, or enjoy authentic Japanese specialties at Kevaki Japanese Restaurant, or savor the best international cuisine at Summer House. Keyaki, our Japanese restaurant, will now also offer a Keyaki Bar (sake bar) from within The Atrium, and our savory & sweet treats will be housed within a Gourmet Deli, open also from within The Atrium. A new addition is our Wine Vault, offering a quiet respite from the buzz of the bars, and serving as a wine cellar for purchases on the run.
Meeting and banquet facilities at Pan Pacific Singapore include the hotel's versatile function rooms, featuring state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. The hotel's recently refurbished Pacific Ballroom and Ocean function rooms can cater for up to 680 in a dining setting or 800 in a reception setting. Conveniently located next to Suntec City, which comprises the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Suntec City Mall and the Suntec Office Towers, Pan Pacific Singapore is also connected to Marina Square and Millennium Walk shopping centre. The hotel is just 20 minutes from the Singapore Expo and Changi International Airport and is within easy access of many Singapore attractions, including the Singapore Art Museum, Singapore River, China Town, Little India, Arab Street, Singapore Zoo, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Singapore Science Centre.
