| Built in 1969 and completely renovated in 2002, the hotel's 14-storey main building is beside a main road and the annexe block has 11-storeys with a total of 794 rooms, of which 709 are doubles and 85 are singles. Guests arrive in a welcoming lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk and two lifts. Additional facilities include a café, a newspaper stand, a few shops, a nightclub and a bar. There is also a games room, 2 TV rooms, a restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's highchairs available on request and Internet access. In addition, the hotel has a laundry service, medical assistance, a garage and, for younger guests, a kids club and a children's play area. |

This hotel lies within 300 metres from Levante sandy beach. In the centre of the tourist area, numerous shopping venues, restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as local links to the public transport network are all located in the hotel's vicinity. Public transport links are located directly in front of the hotel's entrance, enabling easy access into the city centre and other tourist attractions. Excursions to Alicante, which is 40 km away, or the nearest golf course (10 km away) are also possible.

"Nice break in the Pelicanos" |

"We really enjoyed our stay in the Pelicanos, the food was nice but it
did get a bit repetitive, so we went out a few nights, the swimming pool
is fabulous and there is a kids club which can be very enjoyable for the
children and adults as we had a little time on our own. The hotel is
very clean and tidy.The staff are very helpful. It is in a very good
position only 10 minutes walk to the beach and about 40 minutes walk to
the old town, that is a must to go up there, it is very lively and there
is plenty of clothes and shoe shops and lots and lots restaurants. "
The best thing about Sol Pelicanos Ocas was:"The big swimming pool and plenty of sun beds."
The worst thing about Sol Pelicanos Ocas was: "The air conditioning didn't work very well and the beds a
little to hard"
