Located near the Calle Aragon with easy access to the central tourist areas, this is a large hotel offering a good standard of accommodation. The public areas are rather plain but bedrooms are comfortable with parquet flooring and marble bathrooms. There is a small rooftop pool and sun terrace with excellent views of Barcelona. The hotel has a restaurant, a coffee bar and parking facilities. Since Roman times, the administrative and religious centre of the city has always been in what is known today as the Gothic quarter. There you can visit the Cathedral, the Pia Almoina or the Plaça del Rei. Not far from this part of town you will find the Ribera quarter that will remind you of Medieval times. Next to it you will find the Plaça del Born (Born Square), where jousts and tournaments used to be held in the Middle Ages. You can then take a walk along Montcada Street and have a look at the countless palaces from the 15th and 16th centuries. The Picasso Museum is located in the same area.
