| This historical hotel is housed in a castle palace belonging, in its day, to the Counts of Oropesa and the Lords of Jarandilla. It was built at the end of the 16th Century and offers all the comforts of a quality hotel. This air-conditioned establishment comprises a total of 53 rooms and offers guests a 24-hour reception service, a currency exchange facility, a cafe, a bar, 3 restaurants, a TV lounge and WLAN/Internet access (for an additional fee). Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services (extra charges apply to both). There is a children's play area (opening times same as for the seasonal pool) and parking for those arriving by car: guests should note that the outdoor parking is not monitored. From December, facilities will be adapted for the disabled. |

Tourist sights close to the village include Garganta la Olla, Valverde de la Vera and Villanueva de la Vera, and it is well worth visiting Plasencia, Cáceres and Trujillo.

From Madrid, there takes national V (E90), up to Navalmoral of the Bush. There we take the exit n º 178 and connect with the road EX-119 up to coming to Jarandilla de la Vera.
