| The hotel is located in a building that is highly symbolic of the spirit of the small village of Empordanese, the Mas Fàbrega. It was formerly a hospital, built in 1364 by Maria de Xèrica, the countess of Empúries. The air-conditioned and fully renovated complex offers guests the opportunity to experience the unique quality of the building, as well as its 12,000 m² garden, gastronomic delights and its warm and friendly nature. It offers guests a choice of 23 rooms, of which 3 are junior suites, as well as an entrance hall, a café, a bar, a restaurant, an air-conditioned lounge with music, TV and a library and 2 fully equipped conference rooms with a capacity for 15 to 30 people. In addition to this public Internet, a laundry service and childcare are available, and the hotel has its own car park (kept under surveillance). |

The hotel is located in Monells, at the foot of Mount Gavarres, in Baix Emporda. Girona and the sea are about 25-30 km away. The city is built around an old castle, of which the ruins of the outer wall still stand, and guests can enjoy the peace and quiet as they stroll under stone archways. They can also pay a visit to the Placa Major or admire the bridge-homes. Every corner, every house and every stone that makes up the old town whispers stories to you from days gone by, about the nobles of the past, the knights, the street markets, the counts, the countesses, the fortresses and the kings. The great location makes it easy for guests to visit the so-called \"\"Dali triangle\"\" of museums, the Greek and Roman of Empuries, the Iberian city of Ullastret, Girona's Jewish quarter or the beaches of Medes Island.

| How to get there: |
Take the motorway AP7 and turn off at exit 6 - Girona Nord. Drive along the C-66 towards Celrà, and after passing through Celrà drive towards Flaçà. Pass Corça then take the GIV-6702 towards the village of Madremanya. At Monells take the main road and turn right before reaching the bridge. The hotel is very close by, just past the river.
