| Description of the Best Western Dauro Ii Hotel |
Situated right in the heart of Granada on a pedestrian street, this small, welcoming hotel is in a great location for taking in the sights or trying out the local specialities in the many tapas bars in the area. Within a historical building, the public areas are quite traditional and the interior patios are very original with painted murals on the walls. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished to a more modern design. There is a cafe bar and a television/card room where complimentary tea and coffee is available throughout the day.

| Restaurant:- | The cafe bar also has daily menus and varied tapas. Food is available from 12 to 10pm, except in July and August when closed. |
| Families:- | Standard rooms can accommodate up to 1 child sharing with 2 adults. Baby cots can be requested. |
| Business facilities:- | None although bedrooms have a modem point and there is wireless internet in the hotel |
| Disabled facilities:- | There is access to the hotel and public areas. However there are no specially adapted bedrooms and wheelchairs cannot access the lift. |
| 20 mins walk:- | Cathedral, Royal chapel, shopping streets, bars, restaurants |
| Public transport:- | Local bus stop is a few minutes walk. |
| From the airport:- | From Granada airport, 17 km (10.5 miles), taxi direct costs c. 20 Euros and takes around 20 mins; local bus costs c. 3 Euros and stops at Gran Via and Palacio de Congresos. From Malaga airport it is 2 hours drive. |
| Parking:- | There is a valet parking service that costs c.12 Euros/day. Cars are parked at the private car park at the sister hotel, Hotel Dauro. |
| Bar:- | The cafe bar is open from 8am to 10pm, except in July and August when closed in the afternoon. |
| Room facilities:- | Non smoking room can be requested. Whilst the photo shows laminate flooring the majority of rooms are carpeted. |
| Directions:- | From the Granada ring road "Circunvalación" take the exit "salida" 131 signposted Armilla-Palacio de Congresos. |

"Value for money in a city centre spot" |

"We were made welcome on arrival, and found the general decor and our
room in excellent order. The location of the hotel was spot-on: quiet
surroundings, but plenty of life and access to the city sights right on
the doorstep."
