Description of the Corona De Granada Hotel

Hotel Corona de Granada offers good value and is centrally located close to shopping streets, just a short walk from the Cathedral and the Congress Palace. Modern in style, the hotel is a comfortable base from which to explore the city, with a rooftop pool to enjoy at the end of a days sightseeing. Down a couple of steps from the reception and lobby is the cafe bar, and there is a bright restaurant with a choice of buffet and menus. Bedrooms are a good size with pastel tones.


Restaurant:-	Buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch from 12.30 to 3.30pm and dinner from 7.30 to 10.30pm.
Families:-	Rooms can accommodate up to two children sharing a room with two adults. There are some interconnecting rooms. Cots and highchairs can be provided.
Business facilities:-	There are 3 meeting and conference rooms with a capacity of 15 to 350 people.
Disabled facilities:-	There is wheelchair access to the lifts, however, not all public areas are accessible due to steps.
20 mins walk:-	Cathedral, Royal chapel, Conference and Exhibition centre, shopping streets, bars, restaurants
Public transport:-	Local bus stop a couple of minutes walk away on Recogidas.
From the airport:-	From Granada airport, 17 km (10.5 miles), taxi direct costs c. 20 Euros and takes around 20 mins; local bus costs c. 3 Euros and stops at Palacio de Congresos, 300m (980 feet) from hotel. From Malaga airport it is 2 hours drive.
Parking:-	Private garage costs c. 12 Euros/day.
Bar:-	Lobby bar, also serving snacks is open from 8am to midnight.
Room facilities:-	Safe in room costs c. 2 Euros/day. Some rooms face the street and there are also rooms looking onto quiet interior courtyards. All rooms are decorated to the same standard with modern facilities, some have laminate flooring and others have tiled floors.
Pool:-	Outdoor rooftop pool is open during summer months from 11am to 8pm.
Directions:-	From the Granada ring road "Circunvalación" take the exit "salida" 129 signposted Centro, Recogidas.

"Poor quality for a 4 star hotel "
	"The room was very small and the finish of the room needed renovation - especially paintwork and the newer white cabinetry in the closet. A very small tv with poor, noisey reception and only cnn viewable in English. The bathroom was so cramped that when seated on the wc your chin could almost strike the handbasin. The breakfast buffet was poor with the barely warm food. The room was very quiet with regard to outside noise; the shower noise from an adjacent room though was very loud. The position of the hotel makes it reasonably easy to locate when entering the city from the highway. "Excellent Value For Money"
	"What can I say�..fantastic! The location of the hotel was superb, 15 min walking distance from all major sites in Granada. Transport facilities are literally on your door step. Restaurants, takeaways and shops are all within 10 mins of the hotel, its perfectly placed. The hotel its self is in excellent condition, clean, smart and looks the business, excellent value for money. . The standard of food is very good, providing a wide range or varieties in generous quantities. The staff can speak some English and are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. However don't expect great views, it's the only negative point. Room service is prompt and inconspicuous. Overall the hotel is excellent value for money. When I return to Granada, Corona De Granada will definitely be the accommodation I'll choose to stay at."
