Customer reviews of the Derby Hotel
"Shabby and neglected
"
"Having spent the previous night in the excellent Malaga Centro hotel we
were disappointed by the Derby. Although it is in a great location thats
rally all thats in its favour. The bathroom ceiling was leaking in the
1st bedroom we were allocated ! which didnt seem to cause the staff any
concern. The toilet flush had come to bits in the 2nd bedroom bu6t we
repaired it ourselves. The location was extremely noisy but I managed to
sleep with ear plugs. The staff came over as very demoralised and
although not unhelpful the service was not great. Breakfast was minimal
, unimaginative and lacklustre.
" The best thing about Derby was:"They insisted we had nothing to pay on the bar when my partner had drunk
2 whiskies.
" The worst thing about Derby was:"Bedrooms - twins when i`d requested a double , poor standards of decor
and fittings , breakfast , noise.
