The sea as well as the nearest railway station are around 1.5 km away. A nightclub, restaurants, bars, pubs and shopping venues are all within a few steps of the hotel.

"An ideal base" |

"An ideal base for a visit to this beautiful and interesting city.
Within walking distance of both the city centre and the fantastic
science park.
The port area is still under development for the
Admirals cup in 2007 so not a lot to see ther yet.
The hotel staff
were really nice and spoke good English and the rooms clean and
spacious. I would however have expected tea and coffee making
facilities and reject room 7 if offered as the air con in the room was
noisy and there was a large condenser unit just outside the bedroom
window which was so noisy that we had to buy some earplugs from the
chemist next door to ensure a reasonable nights sleep.The car parking
is secure but the website does not say that you will be charged 15
euros a night. Probably worth it however. Breakfast was satisfactory
but if you like volume and not miniscule nouveau cuisine portions do
not eat in the hotel for your evening meal.
Take your walking shoes
and be prepared to shop until you drop and get lost wandering oround
the maze of streets in the old town"
