| Description of the Rex Hotel |
Small, privately owned boutique hotel situated in a quiet street just a short walk from the city centre. Located in a refurbished town house dating back to 1866 this unique hotel is full of character. Many of the building's original features, such as the cobbled floor in the lobby, have been retained. This combines wonderfully with the contemporary Nordic look that prevails. Sister hotel of the Hellsten, situated opposite, a similar homely feel abounds and again the owner's artistic talent is evident. Here one cannot fail to be captivated by the black and white photographs he has taken throughout his travels, beautifully displayed throughout.
