Description of the Sunstar Hotel

This hotel comprises a total of 205 rooms spread over 5 floors, of which 25 are suites. It offers use of various facilities including a foyer with a fireplace, a reception desk, lifts, café and a newspaper stand. Furthermore, guests are able enjoy themselves in the bar with a house pianist, a nightclub, a games room and 2 restaurants, the Adlerstub and Älpli, the family restaurant with a games corner. Location:

This attractive hotel enjoys a central location, opposite the first cable car valley station and around 3 minutes from the centre of Grindelwald (200 m). It is located in the north of the Bernese Alps that feature the famous 4,000 metre high mountains of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau in the Bernese Oberland, within walking distance from the Eiger's world-famous north face. A ski-bus stop is located just in front of the hotel and Grindelwald is the nearest train station roughly 500 m away. In addition, there are cross-country tracks around 1.5 km away.
