The Grand Hotel Europe was built in 1872, combining a regal and classic exterior with a wonderful contemporary look internally. Situated close to the esplanade, the lake, chapel, bridge and the many shops that this stunning city has to offer, all rooms are elegantly designed, with high ceilings and bold colours to further enhance the appearance of this delightful hotel. Some rooms have a charming French balcony with views, though these can not be guaranteed. A lovely choice.

| Families:- | Family rooms are available, inter-connecting rooms are available and baby cots and highchairs can also be supplied on request. |
| Business facilities:- | Business facilities are available within the hotel. Facilities are state of the art, and offer all audio and visual equipment (on request). |
| Disabled facilities:- | The hotel offers full access for the disabled traveller including ramps with wheelchair access, ramps within public areas, easy access for wheelchairs into the lifts and disabled public toilets. The hotel also has rooms that have been specially adapted. |

| Public transport:- | Bus stop "Europe" is 100m from the hotel.

| From the airport:- | A traini from Basel International Airport to Luzern is c. 20CHF one way, a short taxi ride will then be the quickest option c. 10CHF. A taxi direct from the airport to the hotel can be up to 190CHF or more depending on traffic.

| Parking:- | The hotel has outside parking and is free of charge for all hotel guests |
| Bar:- | The bar is open from 3pm - 12pm. Snacks and light bites are available from the bar.

| Reception:- | The reception is in operation 24hrs per day and offers porterage (on request) and currency exchange facilities. |
| Breakfast Room:- | A buffet breakfast is served from 6.30am daily.
